Meet Kussy
Kussy Mackenzie is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Pivot First Consulting & Management. She started her journey in healthcare as a certified home health aide. Later, she founded a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) agency and operated as a Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) provider. Her agency delivered high-quality, person-centered home health services to low-income, medically complex individuals with various disabilities. With the lived experience as a community-based provider, Kussy deeply understands the emotional, financial, and operational challenges that both clients and care teams face.
She brings a well-rounded skill set in healthcare administration and in designing, managing, and evaluating community health programs. Her work is grounded in hands-on experience and a strong commitment to community-centered solutions. At the heart of her work is a simple mission: to serve those who serve others—offering both empathy and strategic expertise to every partnership.
